What is applied behavior analysis?
How does ABA work?
It starts with a comprehensive evaluation performed by a certified behavior analyst that will assess your child's functioning in areas like communication, social and daily living skills, and challenging behaviors. Based on the results, we can determine whether therapy is necessary or not. If treatment is recommended, a individualized treatment plan will be developed that will help your child achieve his/her goals and maximize their potential. Once a treatment plan is developed, it will be continuously analyzed and modified to your child's needs. |
What makes our program unique?
Family Involvement- You know your child best! From the development of goals to using the principles of ABA, our therapists work alongside parents and caregivers weekly to ensure continuity of care.
Generalization- We can provide therapy in a variety of locations- home, daycare, clinic and community. This gives our clients the opportunity to generalize the skills to ensure that your child has the skillset to be successful in different environments, with different people, and across time. Generalization is a valuable component of a treatment plan and that helps your child gain and maintain skills.
Multidisciplinary Approach- We believe that in order to provide quality services, a team approach is best. This is why we collaborate with different fields to provide our clients with a multidisciplinary view on treatment.
Behavior change takes time and progress is not always linear—so have fun, ask questions, and always build rapport.
